We ran into this letter in the St. Bonaventure Province Archives. While it may have been known to the Friars and key persons, I don’t know if it was ever shared with the family or interested parties in Medford or Rockford. But I think it explains a lot of where things were at, at least in 2014. Iit is a little out of date but helps fill in some of the unknowns.
